Does anyone have experience with humidity controlled buildings. I'm considering building some and wonder if I should take the next step and go all the way to climate. How hot will humidity controlled buildings get in summer? Any recommendations on humidity control equipment manufacturers? Thank you

Hi Tex,
You're better off going with climate controlled spaces, with humidity control as an added option. Some new HVAC units offer the added humidity control feature. Climate alone does minimize the humidity, but does not keep an environment dry enough to keep mildew/mold growth a possibility. True humidity controlled units do NOT do anything to help the temperature in the spaces. if it is hot outside, it will be hot inside, same with the cold. Most people don't understand the difference, and it's hard to sell, compared to climate. I have experience with both. Climate is the way to go, especially if you can add the humidity control feature.
