Filing liens with the county clerks office

In the checklist list that I have printed off the NCSSA website for the auction I did not see anything regarding filing liens with the county clerks office. Is this something that should be done as well? If so, how far in advance does this need to be done?

It doesn't need to be done until after the Auction so you know the lien amount.
