Administrative charges for auctions

Uptown Mini Storage - Leslie Strickland

When outlining administrative charges for auctions in the lease, do you have to give specific amounts or can it just say the tenant will be charged administrative fees if their unit goes to auction?

It is my opinion that it should be spelled out. In the facilities that I've managed the contract always has the lien process/fees spelled out so there is no confusion and no 'but you said this, or you promised that...'

NC doesn't specifically lay out the dollar amount. If you are using the NCSSA lease 9b spells it out but essentially it's all reasonable fees associated with the auction are allowed to be recovered. We charge the following: $75 Auction Fee, $25 Lock Cut Fee and a $10 UCC fee.
